When and How to Water Your Hanging Baskets

If the soil is moist wait to water
Your micro climate matters: if your basket is in full sun all day long it's going to need to be watered more often than a basket that only gets 4 to 6 hours of sunlight a day. If you live in a hot climate you will have to water more, if your climate is a bit cooler you'll water less often.
